Just before the Revlon Lip Butters were due to be released in the UK, I spotted the L'oreal Rouge Caresse that appeared to be quite a similar concept; a lipstick that's a little sheerer and balmy-er. Being the impatient person I am, I quickly snapped up shade 401 Rebel Red.
The lipstick has good quality, sturdy packaging and looks really pretty. 10 stars for that! As for the colour, it's a gorgeous red; not pinky or orangey, just in the middle of both. It's pretty sheer but builts up beautifully to a super shiny bright red.

The product is super lightweight on the lips and glides on really nicely. It doesn't cling to dry patches and you definitely don't need to apply a gloss over it. As for wear, its not the longest staying lipstick as it is so lightweight and moisturising however it does leave behind a nice stain so you don't have to constantly apply it.
I'd certainly recommend this product, its perfect for everyday use and isn't too expensive!
