Review: Rimmel 3 in 1 Powder Blush 003 Autumn Catwalk

Rimmel 3 in 1 Powder Blush 003 Autumn Catwalk
Today I'd like to share with you my thoughts on the Rimmel 3 in 1 Powder Blush in 003 Autumn Catwalk. I bought this quite some time ago and really didn't expect to like it very much; there's just something about the colour that just makes me overlook it....

Review: Olay Double Action Nourishing & Protecting Day Cream!

I picked up this cream about a month and a half ago by accident; I meant to get the night cream version, but I'm glad I made this mistake as otherwise I probably never would have tried this product!

Review: Make Up Academy Lipstick No.13!

I have far too many lipsticks, so here's another lipstick review.... Make Up Academy (MUA) is a £1 range available at Superdrug. Initially it was a pretty small collection but it's expanded. I have a number of different products by them but today's post is about their lipstick in number 13.

Review: Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick in Brilliant Bordeaux!

I love lipstick. Lip gloss just doesn't do it for me; it's just so sticky! Anyway, I picked up a Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick a few months back and today I'm going to share my thoughts on it.

Comparison Review: Corn Silk Original and Semi-matt!

Corn Silk has been around for years and has been a staple in many parent's make up bags, but I don't feel that its as well known or used anymore, so I thought I'd do a review and a comparison between the two kinds that they do. I have the loose versions.

Lush Stash: Soaps! (+storage tips)

Today's post is on all of the lush soaps that I currently own. I'm usually one of these people that only buy a new product when I've used what I previously owned, however when it comes to Lush..... exceptions can be made!

At one stage, I had about 7 different Lush soaps, and the smells all began to blend together so they all smelt of the strongest one. Since then I've got my number down and learnt to store them better. Here is my collection.

Scent Rave: Ed Hardy Hearts and Daggers!

Ed Hardy Hearts and Daggers is the first 'proper' perfume I ever owned, and I've gone through two bottles of the stuff! Although scents are very personal to a person, I thought I'd just give you a little bit of information about it and what I think of it. I have the 30ml Eau De Parfum.

Review: Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte 13 Peach Passion!

On a daily basis, I'd say the part of my make up that I change up the most is my lipstick. I love having red lips one day, nude the next. I'm not afraid to wear any shade during the day. But as I like to buy these outrageous shades, I often find I dislike the shade and end up giving it away, meaning I always stick to the cheaper (under £10) budget.. I've always wanted a luxury lipstick and when I went on holiday in October, I cracked in duty free.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte 13 Peach is a beautiful shade of pastel peach that is super wearable but more  eye catching than any other light shade I've came across.

Review: Charles Worthington Mineral Hair Rescue Masque!

With my hair being as damaged as it is from a cocktail permanent dyes and bleach, I've been searching for a good hair mask and treatment. Along the way to my HG (holy grail) hair moisturiser, I found the Charles Worthington Mineral Hair Rescue Masque.

Quick Tip: Banish Blackheads!

If you have extremely bad, deep, dark blackheads, keep reading.

Blackheads are extremely stubborn. I've bought countless things for them and they never seemed to go away. I tried washes, exfoliators, toners, and creams. None of those made a difference so I then tried tablets, which helped the rest of my skin but not my blackheads, but the following method really did work with a little bit of caution and care.

Review: BarryM Fine Glitter Dust 23!

Today's review is on BarryM's Fine Glitter Dust number 23. The glitter dusts are identical to the very popular Dazzle Dusts but with glitter as the name suggests. They come in a range of different shades and retail for around £4.50 in most drugstores, and are often on some kind of offer.

Review: Benefit Benetint!

This review is on a highly popular cult product; Benefit Benetint. It is a liquid lip and cheek stain that promises to be 'kiss-proof' and give you a 'provocative glow'.

Review: L'oreal Super Liner Luminizer!

I was in the market for a new liquid liner after my previous one dried up, and stumbled across this (and the original one). I bought it in Black Amethyst for hazel eyes even though that I have blue eyes as I find purple to look more flattering than the navy colour they were offering as the blue eyes version.

Review: John Frieda BLONDE Haircare!

Bleaching your hair is extremely damaging and drying, so I set out to use products to maximise the amount of time between highlights. I purchased John Frieda Colour Renew Tone Correcting Shampoo, John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Shampoo and John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Controlled Lightening Spray.

I naturally have mousey brown coloured hair, not that I've seen this colour for many years (minus the points where my roots are showing horrifically), due to countless bottles of dark hair dye. I've tried dark brown, black, purple, red, plum, cherry black, permanants, semi-permanents, and then I finally took a shot at highlights.

Quick Tip: Lining the Water Line!

Today I'd like to share with you a little tip for lining your water line and making it last a lot longer.

It can be really annoying to have to constantly apply whatever shade of eyeliner to the waterline, and as soon as you've done it, you can see it starting to fade all over again. The following method really works for me, and means I don't have to worry about when I'm next going to be able to touch up my make up.

Look: Quick Bright Eyes!

With it being so cold outside, I find myself wanting to spent those precious extra 5 minutes in bed and sacrifycing time that I'd usually spend on my makeup extras.

To compensate for this, I've been doing the following look that really does make tired eyes look awake and as if you've spent a lot longer on your eyes than you actually have. Ideal for school, college and the office.

Beauty Find: Latest in Beauty!

Every weekend I read the beauty, celebrity and fashion magazines that come with the weekend newspapers. A few weeks ago, 'You' magazine featured http://www.latestinbeauty.com/ and an exclusive deal that had with them, where you could buy a box containing miniture samples of the most memorable beauty products, such as Liz Earle cleanse and posh, Sisley anti-wrinkle cream (which I gave to my mum as I'm not too worried about wrinkles yet) and a sachet of Lanolips 101 ointment which lasted me 2 weeks.

Here's my review of the service and my thoughts on it.

Review: Bliss Steep Clean Facial Mask!

About 6 months ago when I was in House of Fraser, I spotted Bliss Steep Clean on sale for £10.50 with a minute of their Fabulous Foaming face wash and a day cream! Having heard plenty about the face mask, and knowing that it usually retails for the steep price of £35, I had to have it! I think a sale's person must have labelled the set up wrong as it was alot more expensive online... not complaining!

Review: Avene Eau Thermale Spring Water!

Today's review is on the Avene Eau Thermale Thermal Spring Water, bit of a  mouthful there! It is a spray can containing spring water. Thats a it. Well, plus a bit of nitrogen, but there are no other ingredients. The spray claims to be suitable for sensitive skin as it is 'soothing' and 'anti-irritanting'.

This spray says that it can be used for:
    50ml Can
  • diaper rash
  • irritations
  • razor burn
  • after hair removal
  • to set makeup
  • on sunburn
  • to reduce facial redness
  • after exercise
  • in summer
  • during travel

Review: BarryM Lip Paints!

As a little girl, I was always dipping into my mum's makeup bag when she wasn't looking to sneakly put some lipstick or eyeshadow on when she wasn't looking. I always denied everything, regardless of the fact that my lips were about 6 times bigger and bright red! My mum then bought me my first makeup item; a BarryM Lip Paint, which was the start of my love for cosmetics!
