Look: Quick Bright Eyes!

With it being so cold outside, I find myself wanting to spent those precious extra 5 minutes in bed and sacrifycing time that I'd usually spend on my makeup extras.

To compensate for this, I've been doing the following look that really does make tired eyes look awake and as if you've spent a lot longer on your eyes than you actually have. Ideal for school, college and the office.

As this look is so simple and easy, there's no
point in posting a photo for each step.

Step 1: Apply a shimmery eyeshadow all over the lid. I've chosen Virgin by Urban Decay which is in the Naked Palette and also available by itself. It is a light beige with a very subtle shimmer to it. I used a standard paddle eyeshadow brush to apply it across the lid and into the crease.

White pencil liner, Brown pencil liner,
Black liquid liner, Virgin Eyeshadow

Step 2: Line the upper lash line with a black liquid liner. It gives a more polished look than pencil and I find it quicker than any other kind of liner. I'm only doing a thin line to add definition using L'oreal's super liner Carbon Gloss which is an opaque black.

Step 3: Use a brown pencil liner to line the lower lash line. Appy the liner under the lashes slightly lower than you would usually to create the effect of bigger eyes. I am using No7's Amazing Eye Pencil in 10 Brown.

Step 4: Line your water line with a white eyeliner. I've user an old Natural Collection one but any will do. Apply a little to the inner corner of the eye for extra brightness.

Step 5: I curled my lashes with my Shu Uemura eyelash curlers.

Step 6: Apply a black mascara of your choice. I used Revlon's grow lucious.

Check back tomorrow for my tips for long lasting liner on the water line.
All products purchased by myself and I am not being sponsored.
