Review: Bliss Steep Clean Facial Mask!

About 6 months ago when I was in House of Fraser, I spotted Bliss Steep Clean on sale for £10.50 with a minute of their Fabulous Foaming face wash and a day cream! Having heard plenty about the face mask, and knowing that it usually retails for the steep price of £35, I had to have it! I think a sale's person must have labelled the set up wrong as it was alot more expensive online... not complaining!

Anyway, the face mask claims to be a 'Proffessional strength facial mask for all skin types'. It say that it will:
  • dissolve dead cells and debris
  • exfoliate and smooth skin's surface
  • prevent pluggest and prominent pores
  • include botanical skin brighteners
The mask has a pump that dispenses a blue and a yellow thick creamy product that you mix together. It smells AMAZING, like some other products of their's; sweet and delicious. The container says that the product should turn grean, but I find it to just go a slightly lighter shade of blue. I use roughtly one pump of this to cover my face then a little more to go over any problem areas.

Instructions state to use this once a week and leave it on for 15minutes and then rinse it off but I find that it doesn't do any damage to leave it on for a bit longer. I have combination skin. My nose peels a bit but is also oily like the rest of my t-zone, and my cheeks are normal. I use this mask the reccommended once a week.

The mask leaves my face feeling lovely and clean with any dullness removed, without being drying or harsh. I really like it, but I wouldn't say the results are worth the £35 price tag. I would repurchase it if I could find it for under £20, but not for any higher. As for my pores, I wouldn't say that they are reduced to be honest, they are still pretty visible (I haven't been blessed with the greatest of skin). This product will probably help with preventing blackheads and spots though.

If you have blackheads this won't get rid of them, if you have dry skin then I'd reccoment using it a little less often and if you have oily skin you'd probably want to use it every 5/6 days for the best results. Spot and acne prone skin types would do well to give this a go!

I have seen a few variations of this product on the Bliss website such as a pro size in a tube for £62 (Twice as much product as the regular), and an oily skin types one (they may have just changed this product from all skin types to oily rather than making a new product altogether).

The product is 100ml and I have still got a decent amount left after 6 months of weekly applications with a month or two off, although I'm not entirely sure how much as the product doesn't swish around inside and it isn't a clear countainer.

This product is available in House of Fraser, Debenhams and John Lewis in the UK, and I believe it is also available in the US. Lots of online retailers also carry Bliss products.
