I purchased the shade Brilliant Bordeaux which is a deep red leaning more on the cool side. It is a really pretty colour, but this doesn't excuse the fact that the formula is just not good... I love the other Revlon lipsticks, but this one doesn't hit the nail on the head.

The lipstick comes in lip gloss packaging and there is a doe foot applicator to apply the product, which makes application pretty easy. It's not too big or too small, just the right size for accurate and fast application. The tube is a bit longer than most lip glosses which may pose a problem for storage, but other than that I like the packaging. The tube is clear so you can see the colour of the product; another plus.

On the lips, it looks dry. It's not the most pigmented lipstick but it does give a nice stain.You definitely need a good lip balm or lip gloss to keep applying through the day otherwise it will start to cling to dry patches on the lips, which really defeats the object of buying a long wearing lipstick... It wears unevenly and is hell to maintain.

I wouldn't recommend this liquid lipstick. It's just so much more hassle than a regular lipstick and the finish isn't as good!
This can be purchased anywhere that sells Revlon for RRP £8.99.
